Applicants must be Revit proficient and have the experience and passion to participate in all phases of both large and small-scale projects. As part of a national network, including offices in Austin, St. Louis, NYC and Charlotte, Lawrence Group’s practice includes both local and national projects. Completed LG Austin projects include UT Austin’s Belo Center for New Media and KUT Public Media Studio, PeopleFund’s Center for Economic Opportunity, the Texas Society of Architects Offices in Austin and Sam Houston State’s Fred Pirkle Engineering Technology Building. Projects on the boards include Georgetown City Hall and Municipal Court and the historic restoration/renovation to O. Henry Hall in downtown Austin for the Texas State University System.

  • B. Arch. or M. Arch degree
  • Texas Licensed Architect
  • Knowledge of architectural practice, including design, documentation, detailing, building materials, building codes and construction technologies

  • Preferred proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite

Responsibilities:

  • Perform full cycle accounting for our portfolio of properties
  • Prepare timely monthly financial statements
  • Make appropriate account reclassifications and income/expense accruals
  • Sub-Ledger reconciliations
  • Perform bank transfers and monthly bank account reconciliations for multiple accounts
  • Facilitate A/R and A/P activities during the month
  • Maintenance of rent rolls and CAM reconciliations
  • Respond to various inquiries as they relate to property management accounting

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Professional, motivated, self-starter who takes direction well and can multi-task to juggle priorities
  • Real Estate and/or Property Management experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in residential and commercial property management
  • Proficient in Excel with Word and Outlook knowledge
  • Experience with One Site or Yardi is required
  • Aptitude to learn new software programs
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and be highly organized
  • Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills
