Application Support Analyst

Lawrence Group is seeking an application support analyst to assist with architectural projects in our St. Louis office. The application support analyst has responsibility for managing all applications in the application portfolio. Responsible for the overall maintenance, upgrades and review of the application systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation.  Assist in all aspects of supporting the operational activities of IT.

  • Management, support, optimization and upgrades of all applications
    • Standard MS Office Apps
    • Ajera Project Accounting Software
    • CRM applications
    • Adobe Suite of products
      • Photoshop
      • Illustrator
      • InDesign
    • O365
    • AutoDesk Applications
    • BlueBeam Revu
    • SQL based applcations
      • SQL Maintenance Plans
    • Experience in providing excellent troubleshooting and Tier 2 support of end users and associated applications
    • Ability to analyze an application problem, perform root cause analysis, design and implement solutions
    • Coordination of Management communication and client relationship management in partnership with IT team members.
    • Communicate updates and status of troubleshooting activities on a regular basis
    • Ability to learn new concepts and tools
    • Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with lifecycle methodology, risk guidelines and industry best practices
    • Experience in supporting Cisco Unified Communications platform
    • Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members and acting as the subject matter expert.
    • In depth functional knowledge of the applications supported and interdependencies.
    • Application packaging and deployment
    • Understanding of relational databases
    • Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL
    • Create, track and respond to work orders for all client requests and needs
    • Creation and distribution of knowledge and information within team and throughout the organization
    • Ensure licensing compliance and management of related purchasing and inventory records
    • Assist with I.T. purchasing and asset management compliance and accuracy
    • Create, track and respond to work orders for all client requests and needs


  • Bachelor’s Degree in CS, MS or related field or equivalent working experience
  • 3 or more years of customer interfacing experience
  • Advanced knowledge basic Microsoft applications
  • Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a constantly changing work environment
  • Outgoing, personable, and enjoy working directly with customers
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate detailed technical information to an audience with various levels of technical understanding
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively alone as well as part of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently while following standard procedures
