Lisa Morrison Joins IIDA Virtual Panel, Discusses WELL Building Standard

Lisa Morrison, associate principal, served as a panelist at IIDA Gateway Chapter’s But First…Coffee event on Nov. 11. The virtual event was held from 8 – 9 a.m. and include a panel discussion covering the WELL Building Standard and the Fitwel Standard.

Morrison is a certified interior designer, WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) and Fitwel Ambassador with 12 years of experience in corporate and hospitality design. As a WELL AP and Fitwel Ambassador, she encourages the implementation of wellness concepts in the architecture and construction industry to create sustainable, healthy environments. Recently, Morrison managed the 138,000-square-foot design for Cushman & Wakefield’s St. Louis office – the first WELL certified space in the state of Missouri. She has also spoken at several seminars on the topic of WELL design, including for the American Society of Interior Designers, St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers and the U.S. Green Building Council.

IIDA is a commercial interior design association that supports design professionals, educators and students across the world. The IIDA Gateway Chapter covers the eastern half of Missouri, including the St. Louis metro area, and offers a variety of networking and educational events for design professionals. But First…Coffee is a free monthly program covering current topics in the design industry.
