This project is an extensive remodeling of an existing 4,000 square foot beach front residence. A new curved stair tower, main stair and vertical full-height element were added to encourage the free flow of space throughout the house. Large custom sliding glass panels facing the ocean dissolve distinctions between inside and outside.
Quality interior finishes include custom Venetian plaster, antique Bourgogne limestone and reclaimed white oak. The house is clad in vertical cedar siding and has exterior decks on three
levels, the largest shaded by a retractable fabric awning supported with yachting rigging, spars and masts.
