This project comprised the relocation of two CBS radio stations to 30,000 square feet in 2 Prudential Plaza—a super-tall skyscraper in the Loop area of Chicago, Illinois.
Technical work included newsroom and studios; Lawrence Group created an environment for the public spaces reflecting the vibrancy and excitement of urban Chicago.
WBBM-AM, known on-air as “Newsradio 780,” has been the all-news radio voice in Chicagoland for 40 years. It has broadcast for the Chicago Bear, Chicago White Sox, and Chicago Blackhawks, and is a Chicago “heritage station.”
WBBM-FM, known on air as "B96," brands itself as a “Rhythmic Contemporary.”
