Moving from an outdated space with narrow corridors and little daylight, Northwestern Mutual selected Lawrence Group to design a more modern office environment — better representing their culture and enhancing their active recruiting program. Each company representative also leases their own space within the district office, making not just one, but 50 stakeholders bringing valuable input on the new design.
Throughout the process, Lawrence Group worked closely with representatives to understand individual workplace needs, balancing those needs with company culture and proven workplace strategies.
The successful approach for Northwestern Mutual was a “neighborhood” style layout with a combination of office sizes, each with glass fronts to bring in daylight. The new design increases collaboration, helps recruit new representatives and improves the client experience.
