Challenge

Solid Gold decided to relocate their headquarters to St. Louis and needed to re-identify their brand in the market. The new space needed to attract new talent and help build their corporate workforce in St. Louis. As the staff count grew, the space also needed to be able to expand easily. As a pet food based business, Solid Gold wanted to make sure the space was friendly for both two- and four-legged occupants.

Solution

The space was designed to reflect the casual homelike feeling of the brand. Lawrence Group incorporated the colors and large-scale graphics that were reflections of the Solid Gold branding and packaging. Since dogs were a main focus, spaces were designed to be easily cleanable and pet-friendly, including a few well placed watering holes. As expected, Solid Gold experienced a hiring spike after opening, and quickly exercised expansion rights to add more offices, workstation, conference and some open collaborative space.
