America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses delivers high quality eye care and eyewear nationwide, and the design of each location needs to provide the best experience for the customer. This includes easy-to-navigate retail sales floors and spaces for professional eye care services and state-of-the-art optometric equipment.


Each America’s Best retail store ranges from 3,000 – 5,000 square feet and typically includes a retail sales floor with product displays,  contact lens fitting area, a waiting area, physician’s offices, exam rooms, pre-exam areas, restrooms, storage and a break room. Lawrence Group has provided tenant finish and remodeling services for America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses since 2005, completing more than 400 stores, totaling approximately 1.5 million square feet.

For each retail store, Lawrence Group provides code research and consultation and then produces construction documents based on Cushman & Wakefield’s design intentions. Lawrence Group works with each municipality to apply for and secure building permits.
